I can’t enough of the music blog Missing Toof. I first got turned onto them when they profiled some local DJs from the 1/2 Alive crew that i follow, but since then I’ve been checking back daily. If you want to seem cool and know what the hottest track, bands and remixes are then just follow this blog and their blogroll. This is of course assuming that you like dancing in grungy Eastside bars and are down with ghetto-tech, electro-clash, nu rave and the whole Baltimore scene.
Often misunderstood and always raising and pushing the level of discourse that surrounds art, Richard Prince is up to his old tricks again with his latest work.
With muscle cars often being his muse Prince forces us to ask “what is art”? Is a Ford GT art? Is it art simply because a famous artist such as Prince calls it art? Or is it art because the work forces discourse?
If nothing else this modern DuChamp asks us to reconsider these questions.
